      How the verdict is decided

For each cake the page divides the price by the slices (from the box, or 1 slice per 80 g when you leave it blank) and by the weight, rounded to the cent. A cake fits when it is within your budget per cake and has at least the slices you need. Then a fixed rule, in order: no cake fits - nothing fits, and the cake with the fewest misses (then the cheapest per slice) is the closest; 2 or more fit and the 2nd cheapest per slice costs at most 10% more per slice than the cheapest - close call; otherwise - clear pick. Ties go to the heavier cake, then the one higher on your list.

For fun and for shopping. The comparison reads only your own notes, so it cannot know what is really in a cake. If anyone has an allergy or avoids alcohol, always check the label and ask the maker - never rely on this page. Not professional advice.
